Chinese New Year Event on 28 January 2011 | Brochure here

The local officers showed a great interest to the Event before the Christmas 2010. They were as guest speakers to present the on-going projects in the seminar. The local Chinese students were recommended to the audience. In the introduction of the Chinese New Year, people who were born in the rabbit years got the warm New Year wishes and some small Chinese gifts. The video about Chinese New Year brought the joyful atmosphere. In order to emphasize the importance of China, SilkkiLu designed two quizes, one for Finns, the other for local Chinese students. The quiz for Finns covered cultural, geographical, economic, political, and technological aspects. Most of them were the current issue about China. The quiz mainly asked about Finnish culture. The quiz drew the excitement at the peak. In the quiz, people from companies had a chance to work together. Also Chinese students as taught their potential employers how to pronouce Chinese New Year greetings. Our company SilkkiLu was very luck to have local officers and volunteer workers as a strong support for the company's first business event.
